Leinster Environmentals provide the farming community of counties Louth, Meath and Dublin with a complete recycling service for your waste farm plastics.

Leinster Environmentals is a licenced IFFPG contractor (Irish Farm Film Producers Group) and we aim to provide our local farming community with the best possible farm plastic recycling service. At all times our service to you will be swift, efficient, value for money and professional. By availing of these services a farmer can rest assured that they will have all of the necessary paperwork in relation to the recycling of farm plastics when an inspection is carried out.

Farmers are requested to have the following information available:

Cost / Batch Code
With Batch code a charge of €12 per half tonne applies for the recycling of Silage Wrap and Sialge Pit Covers
If you are unable to provide a Batch code we are obliged to charge €85 per half tonne

Your Batch Code is your proof that you purchased plastic on which a recycling levy was charged. This qualifies you for a reduced recycling rate of just €12 per half tonne. When purchasing silage plastic wrap, ensure that you receive a 6 digit label code / Batch code on the invoice / receipt and bring this code with you to the bring centre. Batch codes WILL BE CHECKED & VALIDATED

A charge of €15 per large bulk bag applies for other all other items which have been properly segregated (Small fertiliser & Feed bags, Bulk Fertiliser & Feed Bags, Chemical containers, Netting & Twine)

Farm Yard Collection
For those who are unable to attend one of our Bring Centre, Leinster Environmentals offers a farm yard collection service during the months of July-September. To avail of this service simply call us (0429323997) or email us (farmplastic@lerecycle.ie) and we will arrange a collection from your farm at the earliest opportunity.

If you are unable to provide a Batch code we are obliged to charge €100 per half tonne

Your Batch Code is your proof that you purchased plastic on which a recycling levy was charged. This qualifies you for a reduced recycling rate of just €40 per half tonne when we collect from your farm yard. When purchasing silage plastic wrap, ensure that you receive a 6 digit label code / Batch code on the invoice / receipt and bring this code with you to the bring centre. Batch codes WILL BE CHECKED & VALIDATED

Silage Wrap & Silage Pit Covers

Small Fertiliser and Feed Bags

Material should be free from stones, metal, wood, farm yard manure, netting & twine and other excessive contamination. These items should be packed alone into large bulk bags. Bags which contain a mixture of plastics will not be accepted. A charge of €15 euro per large bulk bag applies

Bulk Fertiliser Bags and Feed Bags

Material should be free from stones, metal, wood, farm yard manure, netting & twine and other excessive contamination. These items should be packed alone into large bulk bags. Bags which contain a mixture of plastics will not be accepted. A charge of €15 euro per large bulk bag applies

Chemical Containers, Drums & Cans

All containers, drums and cans MUST be triple rinsed. This is a mandatory requirement issued by the EPA. Lids may be replaced after rinsing. Material should be free from stones, metal, wood, farm yard manure, netting & twine and other excessive contamination. These items should be packed alone into large bulk bags. Bags which contain a mixture of plastics will not be accepted, nor will bags which contain containers which have not been triple rinsed. A charge of €15 euro per large bulk bag applies

Bale Netting and Twine

Material should be free from stones, metal, wood, farm yard manure, netting & twine and other excessive contamination. These items should be packed alone into large bulk bags. Bags which contain a mixture of plastics will not be accepted. A charge of €15 euro per large bulk bag applies

Leinster Environmentals asks that all of the above materials are presented for recycling SEPERATELY and are NOT mixed together. In addition all materials should be relatively free from contamination and residues. Materials which are excessively contaminated may not be accepted and farmers delivering such materials will be turned away.
